During your time at Probus Smart Things,

• You would be working on product lifecycle, enabling the hardware to work as per its designed parameters, work on circuits, various processors, controllers, sensors, algorithms and communication protocols, including algorithm design and protocol testing and debugging to make it production ready.
• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems, focusing on basic level data structures.
• Utilize IDEs such as STM32, Eclipse, and KEIL for firmware development.
• Have a strong understanding of version control systems (VCS) for efficient collaboration and
  code management.
• Work with E Linux environments, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Optionally, contribute to projects involving real-time operating systems (RTOS) and baremetal programming.
• Optional proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation and scripting tasks.
• You would directly contribute to and influence the ultimate client outcomes we care so much

• Your development work will allow business assets (engines, factory equipment, trains, etc.),

Qualifications Required-

• Bachelor/Postgraduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE).
• Work experience of 7 years or above in Embedded software development.
• Language – Embedded C, Embedded C++.
• Python, shell scripting is optional.
• Experience in metering and energy products
• Extensive knowledge of MQTT, DLMS, MODBUS, RS232/485, IEC104/850 protocols, Embedded Linux.
• Extensive experience working with ARM application processors.
• Knowledge of BLE5.0 and WiFi protocols.
• Knowledge of debugging of hardware.
• Knowledge of RF(2.4 Ghz, 4G/LTE, and Sub-1 Ghz).

• Financial Reporting & Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting– Lead the financial reporting process, providing detailed analyses of key financial metrics to aid decision-making at the executive level.

At Probus, we are digitizing the electricity distribution grids to bring down network losses and ensure that
electricity reaches every household.
We do this by building sensors, controllers, low power edge devices, connect and manage multiple
sensors with our ecosystem.

has been awarded by India Smart Grid Forum, Government of India.

We are looking for passionate electronics engineers to build the hardware that runs on edge computing,
systems on chips, communicates with cloud servers, server-less containers, and everything in between.

During your time with Probus Smart Things,

• Track, monitor, and manage engineering activities under various engineering development programs – parallelly across the organization
• Track and lead various Integration activities that are required for product success – Hardware design, Firmware development, Software development, and Testing
• Engage with customer success teams for efficient execution of project deliverables
• Implementing new features and functionality for existing products

Required Skills-

• Embedded product design lifecycle experience – should have a proven track record of completing projects that involve integration across Hardware, Embedded Software(firmware), and Software Components.
• Relevant experience of 5-7 years.
• Experience in working and managing cross-functional teams in an engineering manager role or scrum master role.
• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Engineering.
